Add-A-Levels

With a growing family, this home (pictured at left) was in dire need of more bedrooms and bathrooms. While working consciously within their budget, Rehab Construction designed and built them a 2nd story addition with 3 bedrooms and a new bathroom. With the new bedrooms and bathroom upstairs, they can now use the 1st story for their day to day needs, allowing for more living space and easier living in the neighborhood they love.

Add-A-Levels

Our recent client (at right) noticed that as their family got bigger, their living space was getting smaller!  They contacted Rehab Construction to design and build a new second story for their Ranch home with a full interior and exterior renovation.  With DOUBLE their living space, they can now stay in the neighborhood they love with a dramatically INCREASED HOME VALUE!

Moving out and buying a bigger house isn't always the best solution. Adding a level to a Cape or a Ranch is often an easier and more affordable solution than moving out and buying a bigger house. It eliminates the inconvenience of moving and buying a larger home for a fraction of the cost.

Our client (at left) loved their neighborhood and the school district, but needed more room for their growing family. Not wanting to deal with the confusion and expense of architects, contractors, inspectors, permits, etc, they came to Rehab Construction. Our architectural team recommended an "Add-A-Level" and exterior renovation, which gave them three new bedrooms and a full bathroom on the upper level. By doubling their square footage and providing a second level, they enjoy a house that's spacious and designed exactly to their preference, while staying in the neighborhood they love.

Our client (at right) had been looking into an add-a-level for quite sometime, but kept getting tangled up in the confusion of architects, permits, inspections, contractors, etc. Finally, they came to Rehab Construction and we helped them build this gorgeous 2nd level. Their major concern was that a second level would make the house look too tall, so we responded by designing a roof with less pitch that still fit into their budget. They now enjoy the area and it's convenience to New York City with more living space and a meticulously designed addition, while avoiding the confusion and expense of independent architects, contractors, plumbers, electricians, etc.
